Mrs. Von Bergen doesn’t mention that SEIU doesn’t represent all of the Security Officers at UPenn. PSOU won an election 72-2 for the PennWalk Officers in October.
Upon hearing that AlliedBarton and SEIU had settled a contract, the PennWalk Officer were upset as AlliedBarton has hardly even meet with union leaders. So, last Friday, the PSOU broke the silence on UPenn’s quiet campus with a spirited protest.

About 20 PennWalk and Penn Park officers, members of the Philadelphia Security Officers Union, gathered in front of Penn President Amy Gutmann’s house on Walnut Street around 11 a.m. on Friday to protest the negotiation delays between AlliedBarton and the PSOU.
